IN OUR OWN SKIN

A close family member recently posted this on facebook. "I am very happy being in my own skin trying to uphold to family standards that no longer exist in life today. I make people unhappy with my principles but will always uphold to a higher level whom I need to answer to, the lord. It's too bad that others do not uphold values and faith. Very sad". Here was my answer to his unsettling dilemma. "You and I don't make people unhappy, people are likely unhappy already. you see my brother, most people don't really want or care about religious and political views from others. I've learned that people will eventually come on their own terms, their own place and time, and not when we want. Welcome to the real world".
